Two Point Campus Review

Two Point Campus is a relaxing university management simulator that blends strategy, creativity, and a little humor into an enjoyable experience. The game builds upon its predecessor, Two Point Hospital, by introducing deeper gameplay, more building options, and new challenges to keep the gameplay fresh and engaging.   While there's not a heavily structured narrative, amusing campus events and whimsical scenarios offer just enough storytelling to enrich the gameplay from level to level. The vibrant cartoon-style graphics complement the game's playful atmosphere, bringing each quirky university activity vividly to life. The soundtrack and sound effects effectively set the mood, but they can get repetitive after a while. Controls are thoughtfully designed and intuitive, especially on console – rarely can a management SIM play on console without being cumbersome or frustrating, Two Point Campus handles it extremely well.

Gameplay 8/10

The game offers engaging and surprisingly deep mechanics, striking a near-perfect balance between complexity and accessibility. Players will find rewarding challenges without feeling overwhelmed, making gameplay consistently enjoyable.

Story 6/10

A strong main storyline just isn’t the point with this type of game. You’re the new administrator at a variety of different themed campuses with unique settings, curriculums, and challenges. What it lacks in narratives, the game makes up for with amusing scenarios and humorous campus events that provide plenty to keep players engaged and add personality to the experience.

Graphics 7/10

The game's visuals feature bright, cartoon-inspired aesthetics with surprisingly detailed classrooms and accessories available to add. Each feature of your campus- from the classrooms to the student union, to the carnival rides you choose to put outside is thoughtfully crafted and aligns with the game's playful tone.

Sound & Music 7/10

The audio design fits well with the game's atmosphere, featuring a pleasant soundtrack and effective sound effects. However, after a few hours, the radio music especially can start to feel a little repetitive.

Controls 8/10

Controls are designed with care and consideration, offering intuitive and responsive gameplay across both console and PC platforms. Kudos to Two Point Studios for creating a management sim that genuinely feels great on both – that doesn’t happen very often. Players will appreciate the user-friendly layout that makes campus management straightforward and enjoyable.

Humor 8/10

This is a game that manages to stay fun from start to finish without ever taking itself too seriously. The subtle humor, from quirky character dialogues to witty commentary, really adds to the overall experience.

Replayability 8/10

The game offers excellent replay value thanks to diverse campus scenarios, unique challenges, and considerable freedom to simply creatively experiment. Players will find themselves returning often to try new designs and strategies.

Final Verdict 8/10

Two Point Campus earns a strong 8, delivering an entertaining and approachable management sim that's easy to recommend. The vibrant cartoon-style graphics complement the game's playful atmosphere, bringing each quirky university activity vividly to life. The soundtrack and sound effects effectively set the mood, but they can get repetitive after a while.
