Hudson Soft reaching into its back-catalog and rehashing Alien Crush for Nintendo’s WiiWare.
Hudson Soft announces that they will be taking the TurboGrafx-16 Sci-Fi pinball title to Nintendo’s WiiWare service. The revamped game sports the unoriginal title of Alien Crush Returns. The re-imaged title was actually released in Japan for their WiiWare today. The 1988 classic version has also been re-released itself on the Virtual Console.
Alien Crush Returns will be played over two screens on an undeclared number of boards. Hudson will also be updating the technology side of the title, allowing two-player online play and online leaderboards. The Bomberman company also hopes to run multiple tournaments to keep interest in the game alive and well.
No release date for the North American edition of Alien Crush Returns was divulged.
