Updates on release dates for two of Capcom’s biggest franchises inside.
Capcom is currently looking to put out new iterations to two of its biggest franchise, Resident Evil and Street Fighter. According to recent reports the Japan-based publisher has nailed down the release dates for Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV, and gamers will be pleased.
Street Fighter IV will be hitting home consoles in its previously announced window of Winter 2008, but after the holiday rush. The 360 and PS3 title won’t hit stores until February 20, 2009, but will likely move more than a few units anyways.
Resident Evil 5 will be coming in a few weeks after the brawling begins, in mid-March. Gamers can expect the fifth full-fledged title in the series on March 13th. In a surprising twist, it appears that a PC version of the title will be released on the same day.
