Sony Computer Entertainment Pulling Plug On Servers

Sony Plug PulledGamers will be sad to know that today Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced that they will be pulling the plug on some of their PS2 and PSP titles.  These servers will close on June 30th and among the titles losing online support will be …

the great game Twisted Metal Black.  Included in the list of PS2 games are:

 Amplitude

 Destruction Derby Arenas

 Hot Shots Golf

 EyeToy Char

 F1 ’04

 Jak X

 Lemmings

 My Street

 Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain

 and World Tour Soccer.

On the PSP side only 2 games are losing online support, and those titles are: Lemmings and World Tour ’06.  So gamers who need to get their online fix with these titles have until June 30th to do so.  After that, the games mentioned will only be available to play offline.
