Transmission Games is out as developer of Sin City title.
Red Mile’s video game adaptation of Frank Miller’s Sin City has a new developer. Red Mile did not mention why Transmission Games has been removed from the project, but we do know that they are also working on Heroes Over Europe for them. With both games having a projected release date of 2009, the publisher may just be being cautious so they don’t mess up the licensed title.
Red Mile has not disclosed the new developer but did mention that they started working on the project “quite some time ago.” Frank Miller is also watching the project closely, seeing as he did select the Flint Dille to “spearhead the design, scriptwriting, story generation, and overall production” of the title. Geez, let the developer do something other than code and art creation.
