Obsidian Entertainment moving into the RTS genre?
The rumor mill churns out an interesting one today, stating that Obsidian Entertainment, the company responsible for Knights of the Old Republic II, Neverwinter Nights 2 and the upcoming Aliens-based RPG, is hiring people for an RTS project.
The rumor was triggered by the discovery of a job posting for a Lead Artist position on an “Upcoming undisclosed title – RTS”. The target platforms – PC, PS3, 360 - are also listed as part of the description with the job starting immediately.
We will keep you abreast of the unannounced project’s developments as they occur. Hopefully, Obsidian can bring a bit of innovation to the RTS genre on their freshman entry.
