Hellgate: London just won’t die.

According to a fansite, Flagship Studios’ only product may continue on after Namco Bandai calls it quits. We reported to you Friday that North American publisher Namco Bandai will be shutting down the title’s servers at the end of January 31st, but another company may be stepping in.

HanbitSoft, an investor and international publisher, announced that T3 Entertainment managed to recruit some developers from Flagship Studios and Blizzard Entertainment and formed a new internal studio. The statement stated “they will be carrying on where the last crew left off. Hellgate also decided to go partly FREE in Korea. Don’t be too excited. It’s not ALL FREE.”

For its part, the official Korean website of the title stated that “the Hellgate will soon re-open, and your valor will be needed once again.”

The saga continues.  More as it comes.
