Majesco has just announced Powerbike coming to the Nintendo DS.
Powerbike will allow players to speed through dangerous streets and jump trains, bridges and traffic congestion while fleeing from the cops on eight challenging courses across the desert, city, shipyard and more. Players can earn even more cash by performing jumps, burnouts, wheelies and drifts in Stunt Mode. Also included is multiplayer modes in both Race and Stunt Mode, as players use their hard earned cash to upgrade their bike’s speed, acceleration, traction and stability in three different difficulty modes.
Powerbike Main Features Include:
- 8 courses from the open desert to the heavily congested urban streets to a shipyard, plus much more.
- Players use winnings to upgrade their bike’s speed, acceleration, traction and stability.
- Earn money by performing tricks in Stunt Mode, performing jumps, burnouts, wheelies, drifting, and more.
- Jump obstacles including trains, bridges and traffic to evade cops.
- Race or go head to head in Stunt Mode with a friend in local DS multiplayer.
Powerbike is scheduled for release this fall in Europe, with a North American release to follow shortly thereafter.
