Numerous sources have been reporting that the latest version of the Xbox 360 hardware has hit retail shelves.
The new hardware revision, code-named “Jasper”, reportedly features a smaller (65 nanometer) GPU chip and a 150 watt power brick. This new hardware revision could potentially make the system run much cooler and likely result in fewer irreversible hardware failures, such as the now infamous Red Ring.
Also included with the new “Jasper” model is 256 MB of internal flash memory, which can be used for downloads, game saves and the newly released Xbox Experience.
