The sequel to the best selling PlayStation 3 game of the year Metal Gear Solid 4 is scheduled to be receiving a sequel in the near future.
According to former Kojima Productions assistant producer Ryan Payton, he let slip that work on Metal Gear Solid 5 is already underway. Though no additional information was given, he also mentions that he believes that Hideo Kojima is on board once again after stating that MGS4 would be the last Metal Gear game he would be working on.
Metal Gear Solid 5 is expected to have incredible visuals, controls and an engaging storyline, in what made MGS4 a huge blockbuster for Konami and Kojima Productions.
