Activision to cash in on Guitar Hero World Tour DLC starting Week 1.
Activision needs more money. Apparently the wild success of the Guitar Hero franchise and partial ownership of the $1 billion-a-year title that is World of Warcraft is not enough income. The publisher announces today that they will be pushing not one, not two, but five separate bands for GHWT’s DLC.
- “Rock and Roll Band” by Boston
- “Hot Blooded” by Foreigner
- “Jessie’s Girl” by Rick Springfield
- “No Rain” by Blind Melon
360 owners will also receive exclusive access - for two weeks - to a trio of R.E.M. joints:
- “Horse to Water”
- “Man-Sized Wreath”
- “Supernatural Superserious”
All the tunes will be available separately and pricing has not been disclosed.
