Oh noes, Final Fantasy XIII Versus development has been suspended!
Square-Enix has put FFXII Versus on hold to focus on Final Fantasy XIII itself. The team behind FFXIII Versus has not stopped production altogether though, as the artists will continue to produce artwork.
There is also word that the mobile phone version for Fabula Nova Crystallis, called Final Fantasy Agito XIII is still in the early stages of development. The mobile version reportedly has a large background history written entirely by game director Hajime Tabata.
