Electronic Arts announces a second blockbuster deal for their EA Partners program, this time with Epic Games.
Epic Games, known mostly for the Unreal Tournament franchise, Unreal Engine and more recently Gears of War, has teamed with Electronic Arts via their Partners program. The partnership will see a new project - shockingly it is an action title - for the 360, PC and PS3. Development is being handled by Poland-based People Can Fly of Painkiller fame.
Epic president Mike Capps said that People Can Fly, a wholly owned subsidiary, have been tasked to “make something as cool as Painkiller and go over the top.”
I will call it right now. The game will likely be oozing machismo, feature guns and explosions.
