Criterion Games returns to news today with details on Big Surf Island.
Burnout Paradise, released in January of this year, has stayed in the minds of many gamers due to its influx of free downloadable content since its release. The company announced more details on its next pack, although one of the facts is that it will not be free. Schuks.
The newest pack is entitled Big Surf Island and is set to appear sometime in early 2009. The originally free add-on will an island about the same size as Downtown Paradise, with the same sort of gameplay available. Criterion stated that “we never expected to create anything this ambitious for the island, but as it progressed we got more and more excited.” Hence the eventual change to paid-for DLC.
Prices and dates have not been announced for the previously discussed Party Pack, or Big Surf Island. The upcoming Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box will include the Party Pack in its release.
