Codemasters has just announced the development of Dirt 2 based on the late great racer Colin McRae coming to consoles and PC in 2009.
Colin McRae is known for being tough and had a will to fight through his races, and the games with his name on it are no different. Codemasters is back once again with Colin McRae: Dirt 2, the first game in the Colin McRae series since the racers tragic death.
The game will be following the first title in the series directly but will focus on the “extremes” of off road racing. Dirt 2 will also be leading the way with the company’s new EGO engine. With the racer dying last year, it was a hard decision for Codemasters to keep the franchise going. But they know that fans of the series are going to be very excited with the new added features.
The game has no official release date, but more as it becomes available.
