Atlus and developer Firebrand have just announced TrackMania DS coming to the Nintendo DS in North America.
TrackMania DS is based on the fun and the spectacular aspects of racing, and allows players to drive at mind-blowing speeds in hi-octane racers on incredible tracks made of jumps, loops, turbo boost pads and other crazy design features, providing players with more than a hundred circuits to tear around, in three distinct single-player modes.
The game features over 100 tracks, loaded with daring jumps, thrilling loops, crazy ramps and a host of other insane stunts. Players have access to the most powerful portable track design system ever, giving the player a total freedom to create the most over-the-top race courses imaginable and offering practically unlimited value.
TrackMania DS also features single and multi-card local wireless multiplayer support for up to four players at a time (and eight players via hot-seat mode), in addition to the ability to share and race on other players custom tracks.
TrackMania DS is scheduled for release on the Nintendo DS in North America on March 17th 2009.
